The Animal Kit

The Animal kit started with the Animal costume, which was made by BALES in 2013. It was entered into several online costume contests and was the highlight of neighborhood Trick ‘r’ Treat

In 2014, Bill fabricated the kit … it had to be done.
24” kick … 13”, 16”, and 18” toms … 14” snare.
Yellow-Orange-Red fade (sprayed) with a rubbed oil finish.
Wooden hoops slathered in metallic rattle can paint, metallic powder coated hardware, red fringe, and a custom from head by Woodshed Stage Art.

What is not to love? We made a stupid/awesome video for YouTube, BALES wore the costume again in 2021 for Halloween, and the kit currently resides at Zildjian’s headquarters in Norwell, MA. If you take a tour, you’ll see it … unless they’ve moved it.
