Giant Rope Tension Bass Drum

We made this giant rope tension bass drum for Ottawa University in 2019. It’s 30” deep x 90” diameter. With the hoops, it’s 8 feet tall and once on it’s trailer, 10 feet tall. 2” taller and it wouldn’t have fit through the shop’s cargo door.

Bill Sr. and Momma Whitney drove it to Kansas … they love road trips.

Time lapse footage of the build was captured and has been roughly edited, but still needs VO and final editing. Time is a bit of a scarce resource, so such a project keeps getting bumped down the list.
